What is an olive-based solution?
An olive spray tan solution refers to cosmetic bronzers that come in a shade of green and provide immediate color upon application. Additionally, they can stain the skin, allowing a more customized experience. These olive bronzers work particularly well with skin with pink and red undertones (or cool skin tones), as they neutralize any orange or red hues and create a natural golden tan after development.

I was thinking I wouldn’t get to use this solution 14 very often. Many of my clients are Caucasian and being in the Midwest we don’t see much sun normally. I have a few clients who I would say at best are a light medium skin tone who were begging for darker after using solution 12. I gave in during the winter to “try” this on them. I figured worst case if it was a little weird that they would be mostly covered. Turns out they LOVE it!! They get it everytime.

I’ve been in the spray tanning world for almost 10 years now. At first I practiced on those friends that trusted me enough to know that I’d probably jack them up with a bad tan (there’s an old boyfriend in that pack of friends that adds for a HILARIOUS story, poor guy). I love love love this product!! I’m very pale and it’s so hard for me to tan. Then, after using from top shelf expensive to drugstore brand tanning products, I was still not happy. I started getting spray tanned, but it was cutting a huge hole in my wallet. I decided to spray myself and my friends. That grew to friends of friends and then a small side business that I have. Then, I almost lost it all. I was receiving complaints from a lot of people about the quality of the color and the drying out of their skin. is 14% too dark? I was thinking for already tan clients.Is it a dirty looking too dARK(you know what i mean?) some darker blends look like a dirty skin dark more then a golder brown natural dark.

Our Dark Depth is for those with Skin type 2 (with base tan) or Skin type 3 with naturally dark skin tones. It will still be a natural look for those that fit this description. If you are pale, you will run into issues, including oranging if you use too dark of a DHA %.

Since you use this as a base for body building clients, which solution do you follow up with? Do you apply 2 passes of base and 2 passes of the 2nd solution? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

To use as a competition base color, you will spray the client as normal using the Dark Depth No. 14. Allow drying the 8 hours before showering. Once the client has showered you will apply a competition formula of your choice and use as instructed.

I’ve provided 2 stars solely because the color is amazing ,but not for a fair skin person like myself. It clearly stated “not for pale skin”. However, reading the reviews of some with my same complexion I went against advisement from company. It’s orange on me, but I will say this, I scrubbed in the shower and all but some on my hands came off after 12 hours. I will stick to my medium blend and NOT get sassy next time.I have some clients I can spray with this whom have that olive skin tone so thankfully won’t be a waste of product. I find the smell nice, dry time swift for me more so than the medium. For those fair skinned that this works for I mean no disrespect to y’all, this is just solely my experience.
